01/23/2018: Loveland Native Shares New Book, Dare To Be Different, Free To Be Yourself, at WSB in Loveland on Jan. 24
Deann Hummel will visit and share her newest book, Dare To Be Different, Free To Be Yourself, at Western States Bank’s Loveland location on January 24 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
“While writing Dare To Be Different, Free To Be Yourself, I uncovered wisdom and knowledge given to me that helped shape who I am today,” says Hummel. “I want my readers to embrace their selves for who they truly are, which leads to accepting others. When you don’t love yourself, you can’t give love to someone else.”
After her education in cosmetology and interior design, Hummel started her own gift basket business, Unique Gifts by Design. “My life passions and accomplishments are nothing compared to my most rewarding jobs – being a wife, mother and grandmother,” said Hummel.
The 2017 publication follows Hummel’s first book A Walk Beside Me, a memoir to celebrate her son’s life battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
“Deann Hummel is no stranger to taking chances and being true to herself. This is one of the many reasons Western States Bank is proud to host a Loveland local who is impacting our community every day,” said Drew Johnson, Vice President of Commercial Loans at Western States Bank serving the Loveland market
